I started making ruff sketches of other charterers I’m hoping to put in the Danny Chase comic. I need to get better at drawing different body types. I’m far too use to drawing short scrawny/lanky characters and it shows when you see Jericho. His legs actually looked pretty damn good initially, but I made him too short and now they look pretty awful. So uh…tall is definitely a thing I have to get use to.

A few notes about how the characters will be written (mostly so I can have some easy reference for them latter, and possibly get feed back from you guys maybe?)

First off Jericho (Joseph Wilson): I have no idea how he’s going to end up a part of the plot yet, but I really want him in there, so I’ll figure something out. I plan to have him be doing all right mentally, taking him from after he was healed (yet again), and had been planing to possibly make a Team with Roy Harper. I’m thinking he will still mainly communicate in sign language, despite having the ability to talk. This will be partially due to habit (even when he does talk, he’ll often unconsciously sign while doing so), and partially a psychological aversion to speaking. Every time he’s regained his voice, or started speaking again, without fail, horrible things have started happening, and I have a hard time believing it wouldn’t effect him in some way.

Bart Allen: This Bart will have a lot of his Impulse personality (thought bubbles and all), but still be affected by things that have happened to him as Kid Flash and The Flash. Basically I’ll be trying to write him as he was written in Kid Flash Lost. I’m not sure if I’m going to roll with his whole fantasizing about killing Inertia in horrible, violent, and graphic detail because it’s so increadibly out of character and…quite frankly thinking about the scene still makes me queasy. But I hate just dropping things like that. I’d rather there be some rational explanation for it, but that would require me actually coming up with one so…I don’t know.
Plot wise, I’m thinking when Danny tries to reconnect with the Teen Titans, Bart will probobly be one of the only New Gen Titans he gets along with / becomes close with. Something that’s really bugged me about the New Gen Titans, is just how close nit the Young Justice “graduates” are, and how unwilling they seemed to really integrated any of their new members in to the fold (for the most part). I mean, I can understand it to some extent but, when it comes to Danny, with most of the group already being pretty closed off in their own ways (with the exception of Solstice, and possibly Ravager), Bart is one of the few who I can see still being open to new people. Plus, he was best friends with 90’s Kon, he can handle egotism, and they can get in to shenanigans and drive Beast Boy up the walls. 

And the last character: I’m still really working on this one, and I’m not at all happy with the costume design. This is a cannon character, but one who’s outfit is going to be changed, and they themselves will have changed quite a bit since the last time they appeared in comics. I’m not going to say who it is…because I’m not sure they were ever actually given a real name quite frankly. Also I want to see if any one can guess who they are. This character was in (as far as I’m aware) a whole of two New Titans comics and was a minor villain. I’m not sure if they will be coming back as a villain or not, but they do have a pretty personal grudge against Danny.
