TEMPEST FAMILY PORTRAIT BY VIOLA TANGANELLI
This was originally commissioned as a single character piece of Tempest as a big beautiful man. This was the mindset I had in my mind when I ran the idea by Vi:
“Garth/Tempest II - Well-fed: Maybe the idea of Garth having spent time off on vacation, if not with Dolphin then at least with Cerdian. There’s a specific piece of art I’d like to use for body size reference. In a baggy, short sleeved red shirt and a pair of denim cut-offs, relaxing on the beach at sunset.”
The outfit Garth’s got on was based off a fan fic I read by Daria Brooks.
To my surprise Vi really want with the idea of Garth being on a vacation by adding in his wife, Dolphin, and their son Cerdian, though Cerdian is more prominent than Dolphin. Again, I just love Vi’s use of body language and water colors to create beautiful sunset backgrounds.
